Reflexology for Pregnancy and Birth

These workshops are designed for couples or a woman and her chosen support person. The workshop is a four hour workshop run over two days (2 hours each day). It may be on two weeknight evenings or on a weekend.

Maternity Reflexology can ease the minor discomforts of pregnancy such as heartburn, nausea, constipation, fluid retention. It can help initiate labour and can be used throughout labour as an aid to relaxation. Postnatally, reflexology can be of assistance to enhance sleep in both the new mother and her baby. The workshop will show couples how to apply these relaxing techniques. Reflexology techniques can also be beneficial for your newborn baby, and basic techniques to help with common infant issues such as colic will be briefly outlined in the workshop.

Yoga Classes

Pregnancy Yoga - Classes focus on strengthening the body, enhancing health and increasing awareness of the growing baby. Skills for labour such as breath awareness, affirmations, visualisation and relaxation are included each lesson. Building confidence and trust in the body and the normal process of birth.

Mums and Bubs - Classes run for 1 hour. Focus is on getting back in to shape and relaxation. Stretch and move your body in a safe space with your baby. Learn massage and yoga movements for encouraging growth and development in little bodies.
